Structures of the four active compounds were determined as different derivatives of leucinostatins. The compound of C1, leucinostatin B, contains the substituent –CH3 in position R1, R2=CH3CH2COCH2(OH)CH-, R3 = –H and R4 = –CH3 while the compound of C3, leucinostatin B2, only has the different substituent –CH3CH2COCH=CH– in position R2. Another difference exists at position R3, which is observed with the substituents -CH3 in the compound of C2 and C4 (leucinostatins A and A2) compared with C1 and C3, respectively
