From: Glabridin exhibits potent inhibitory effects against Toxoplasma gondii in vitro and in vivo

Survival rates of Toxoplasma gondii-infected mice treated with glabridin. Mice were intraperitoneally injected with RH tachyzoites and treated with either corn oil (vehicle) or glabridin at doses of 50 or 100Â mg/kg. Survival rates were monitored for 25Â days. Vehicle mice treated with corn oil reached their humane endpoint on day 7 post-infection. In contrast, mice treated with glabridin at 50 and 100Â mg/kg glabridin started to reach their humane endpoints on days 9 and 10, respectively. Treatment with glabridin, particularly at 100Â mg/kg dose, significantly delayed the onset of humane endpoints and improved the overall survival rate compared to the vehicle group
